During an appearance on the red carpet alongside director Spike Lee, Denzel Washington, 70, found himself in an unexpected confrontation with a photographer. While speaking with Lee, a photographer attempted to grab Washington’s arm to get his attention.
Washington, visibly taken aback, turned and pointed at the photographer, appearing to issue a firm warning to stop. Though the photographer smiled and nodded in acknowledgment, he grabbed the actor’s arm again moments later.
This time, Washington, clearly frustrated, pulled away and firmly repeated, “Stop,” as he tried to disengage from the situation. The tense moment highlighted the actor’s clear boundary while in the public eye.
